Be Quoted in the ColdFusion Evagelism Kit

April 23, 2008 4:48 PM

A previous blog entry spoke to the customer evangelism kit I have been working on to give you a tool to bring back to your respective organizations to market and evangelize the product. Throughout the "kit" (still need a better name, more ideas?), I'd like to have customer quotes about ColdFusion. One example is: "With ColdFusion, you don't need an army of developers." - Eric Hoffman, managing partner at Minnesota-based EJH and Associates.

You too could be quoted and in print. Share your one line about CF here and let's see what makes the cut. Gentle warning: I won't be able to use them all and I will be picky. :)

I'm working on this now so please don't delay.

I've used ColdFusion for ten years for one reason - it never fails to take the complex and confusing and turn it into the simple and elegant.

Using ColdFusion, building powerful applications is dead simple and embarrassingly easy.

My ability to get work DONE is exponentially better in ColdFusion than any other web development language I've ever used.

I once saw an AD that said "I sleep better at night knowing that my man codes in ColdFusion" I think thats the best line ever! but seriously. "With ColdFusion you are just missing a database server"

ColdFusion makes developing web applications a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Or you can shorten that to:

COLDFUSION ROCKS!

There have been many challengers but ColdFusion still reigns as the Rapid

My clients are able to go from concept to product much faster and cheaper with ColdFusion.

Real web applications require a real web application server. ColdFusion, built on J2EE, is just that - but without all the complexity and development pain of J2EE.

There was a time, when my Web Dev live was in the Dark(JSP, ASP, Fox Web,
and Perl); then I find the Light, CF 5, and then came more and more light
(CF 6,7,8) to make my life easy, thanks ColdFusion to help me to build
Internet.

We love that ColdFusion gives optimized out of the box stepping stones to faster development cycles.

I find that that ColdFusion integrates seemlessly into your Adobe design and video workflows allowing us to build mind-blowing 'wow' factor for our clients.

ColdFusion may cost more than the competition, but you make up the savings in not having an army of coders to do the same task.

We all know folks in the ColdFusion community who came from .NET. or PHP. Have you ever heard of someone going the other way? Me neither. Why is that?

ColdFusion: When you realize that time-to-market and quality assurance don't have to be competing interests.

"Well, technically I'm a ColdFusion developer. But I spend most of my time looking for more work to do.

ColdFusion: Yes, it can do that too.

Thanks to everyone who responded with quotes for inclusion in our ColdFusion Evangelism/ Sales Kit. Keep your thoughts coming! In addition, I am looking to include some quotes from IT Managers, CTOs, etc. of medium to large sized companies that are using ColdFusion. If you fit the bill, I would love to hear from you... or, if your boss is willing, please ask him/ her to share their thoughts.

Of course, please provide name, title and company name when you submit your quote so we can attribute it properly. Thanks!
